The Committeeโs role is to encourage the business community to join, be active and vital members, and to remain members of the Chamber. Members are encouraged to be active with the various committees, opportunities, and Chamber events. As Ambassadors, they promote the benefits of membership and assist members in networking. They are also referred to as the โWelcome Committeeโ and assist the Chamber staff at events throughout the year. This is a high energy, highly motivated committee dedicated to their goal of strengthening the membership of the Chamber. This vital committee is resposible for new and renewing membership programs. |

A networking event for member businesses, the Business to Business Committee provides seminars and/or workshops for members and their associates focusing on issues such as self-confidence, motivation, and sales techniques. The event is held in conjunction with the "Taste of the Cities," where members in the catering & restaurant business are invited to showcase their food. |

Crab Feed

This committee organizes and works together to produce a wonderful "Crab Feed." This event includes dinner and great prizes. It is a terrific fundraising event for the procurement of funds for the Chamber's "Access to Higher Education" Foundation. At an annual special event, the Chamber Foundation awards scholarships to deserving graduating Daly City and Colma High School seniors. |

The Cypress Business Achievements Gala is an annual event that recognizes outstanding businesses and individuals in the community for their excellence, innovation and contributions. The awards highlight achievements in various categories, including Small, Medium, and Large Businesses of the Year and more. A special video presentation that showcases the outstanding efforts of the award recipients are the highlights of this event. |
