Leadership Council San Mateo CountyCEO Felicia Leong welcomed the incoming Leadership Council San Mateo County Class of 2027 and wrapped up a full day of leadership, connection, and community at Amara Restaurant in Belmont. The evening was made even more special by spending time with longtime colleagues and Leadership Council student and Amara owner Reena Miglani, along with her husband and co-owner. A wonderful celebration of new leaders, strong relationships, and the local businesses that bring our communities together.  Japanese Flag RaisingThe Chamber joined the City of Daly City for its Japanese flag-raising ceremony, celebrating culture, community, and friendship.  Burlingame on the AvenueThe Chamber enjoyed a lively, family-friendly weekend filled with local businesses, community spirit, and wonderful weather.  Connecting CommunitiesThe Chamber represented Daly City and Colma at the From San Francisco to the Philippines mixer—building friendships and strengthening regional connections.  CEO VisitGrocery Outlet:: CEO Felicia Leong, joined by Chamber Vice President Kevin Tong, visited Grocery Outlet at 6100 Mission Street in Daly City to welcome this new neighborhood business to the community. Located in the former Walgreens space, Grocery Outlet brings its signature extreme-value shopping experience to Daly City while maintaining the personal touch of a locally operated neighborhood market. The Chamber was pleased to welcome Grocery Outlet ahead of its Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting, which was celebrated on September 10, and to recognize this exciting new addition to Daly City’s vibrant business community.
